I spent most of the day working on my custom front drive hub. In order for my feet and legs to rotate around the front wheel, it has to be far narrower that a standard drive hub. So, I cut out about an inch of the hub axle and welded it back together, It was a delicate job! I used spacers to ensure that the two flanges of the hub were perfectly parallel. The new width between spoke flanges is 30mm. Now I need to order some spokes and learn how to true a wheel.
