If April showers bring May flowers, what does April snow bring?
Again, more snow last night. The roads were a mess this morning! Calgary is expecting a high of only -1 degrees Celsius (about 32 degrees F). Kind of puts a damper on the outside training.
I'm feeling the brick from yesterday. A brick is a bike ride followed with a run. My legs are a bit rubbery, but otherwise OK. That's a sign that I need to do more long bricks to prepare for the trip because it's what I'll be doing everyday for 14 days in a row. I want to be able to wake up in the morning, and not feel what I did yesterday. That's what training is for: to build strength and endurance so that I will be able to handle the volume during the trip, and even more important, to prevent injuries.
