Hi:

For those new members of the group who don't really know what's going on, here's a quick re-cap of the procedure and progress:

A full explanation of the experiment can be found here: http://www.adventuresofgreg.com/Mystery/whatabout.html Over the last 5 years I have been conduction experiments that attempt to predict the outcome of a random or non-random future event. The method is a combination of natural intuition, consensus and statistical analysis called Associative Remote Viewing or ARV.

Each attempt at predicting the outcome of some future event is called a 'trial' and many trials are nested together to form a consensus for predicting the outcome of one single event.

Over the last 5 years I have conducted 2188 ARV trials. 55% (1193) of the trials were correct in predicting the outcome of the future event. 1193/2188 correct results in a z score of 4.21. A z score measures the number of standard deviations from chance expectation. A z score over 1.7 is considered statistically significant. A z score of 4.21 is extremely significant and chance cannot be considered a possible explanation.

An important aspect of the ARV protocol is the substitution of photographic images for the actual outcomes of the event being predicted. With the AdventuresOfGreg group experiment, I am testing the effect of mass observation of my ARV trial feedback images - in short, the images that you are shown once a week are related to the outcome of the event that I have attempted to predict. (the stock market). If the hypothesis is correct - that more observers of feedback images will improve the effect, then I should be able to measure a significant increase in average effect size per trial over my existing database of previous trials (the control). To ensure that all members are actually viewing the feedback images, I ask a simple question about each. When you answer the question correctly, you are rewarded with 1 share of the profit pool. At the end of the experiment (either in June, or when the profits reach $100,000, I will split a portion of the profits with the members of the group according to the number of shares you own.
